About the competition:

The National Annual Public Administration Case Competition is a joint project of the Canadian Association of Programs in Public Administration (CAPPA) and the Institute of Public Administration of Canada (IPAC). The 2024 competition will be held online on February 24, 2024, with the technical support of Carleton University.

13 Canadian universities will compete to highlight the excellence of public administration programs and students, and to provide a valuable learning experience for students. Throughout the event, students will have opportunities to learn and build professional relationships with other future policy leaders from across the country.

You can learn more about the National Case Competition by visiting the CAPPA website at https://cappa.ca/wp/en/what-we-do/case-competition/ .

UofT has a strong record over the years in the case competition, including a gold medal in 2021. We invite you to consider this great opportunity to develop and demonstrate your policy skills by applying to join the UofT team. First and second year students from both the MPP and MGA programs are invited to apply.

The team will be assisted by professors Drew Fagan and Brian Lewis as the team coaches, by a student lead, by other faculty members and fellows, some of whom acted as coaches for the fall case competition, and by Munk graduates who participated on past national teams.

Applications are currently open and close on November 28 at 6pm!
