CASE COMPETITIONS

The Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy offers its students the opportunity to apply their knowledge in policy, creativity and teamwork skills to solve complex public sector challenges in numerous case competitions. Munk School Students are required to evaluate real-world scenarios, conduct rigorous quantitative/qualitative analysis, develop feasible policy options, recommend strategic solutions and defend their position to a panel of expert judges.

The following competitions are offered throughout the year:

Munk School Students are typically asked to prepare presentations that define the central policy challenge; outline decision-making risks, opportunities and complexities; highlight issues of implementation; develop a communication strategy, perform a stakeholder analysis; and identify a suggested course of action, including a justification of fiscal implications.
